Spring Break Haul 2018 (pt.1)

Spring Break Haul 2018 (pt.1)

Hey guys! I cannot even begin to express my excitement for spring break to get here. THREE DAYS and I will be on a plane to beautiful Cabo, Mexico. I’ve only gone to Cabo once before and it was only for a day because it was just a day stop on the cruise I was on with my family. From what I remember it was very lively and fun, while also being incredibly scenic. I’m hoping to find a good balance between fun time and relaxation time.

I’ve completed most of my shopping for my trip and thought I would share with you guys where I found my outfits for Cabo ranging from tops, dresses, rompers, swimsuits, sandals, and MORE! I’ll post links to the exact article of clothing as well as some other similar options.

Since I am going to a beach destination, I focused on mainly light clothing options such as crop tops, lighter weight tops, rompers/jumpsuits, shorts, skirts, sandals, and comfortable lounge clothes.

One of my favorite pieces that I purchased for the trip is a bright yellow tie front top with ruffle sleeves (seen in both photos above). It is very light weight and I thought it was perfect for Mexico. I will be able to either dress this up to go out, or can just as easily dress it down. I purchased this top at a local boutique in Kansas and unfortunately was not able to find it online. However, here are some similar options:

Another staple for a spring break trip I think is a good jean skirt. They are so versatile in the way that they literally go with just about ANYTHING. You can also dress them up or down. My jean skirt (pictured in the main image) is from Topshop and I have attached the link below!

I also have this one and I LOVE how its asymmetrical in the front! https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/shop/bdg-asymmetrical-denim-mini-skirt?category=skirts&color=094

Now lets talk shoes. Regardless of what trip I’m going on I always try to limit the amount of shoes I bring with me simply because they tend to take up space. Preferably I’ll pack three shoes at the most that can be mixed and matched. For my trip to Mexico, I plan on bringing my black tie block heels from Steve Madden (pictured above), a simple pair of sandals, and a pair of running shoes for when I want to work out. I purchased my Steve Madden block heels over a year ago and wasn’t able to find the exact pair, but I’ll most similar options!

Tomorrow I’m going to make a post that is ALL about swimsuits and where I personally love to get mine from. Also stay tuned for a post detailing my packing list and tips I have on packing!
